For 50 years, Center for Hope & Safety has stood beside survivors in Bergen County, growing into far more than a place of refuge.

Recently, CEO Julye Myner, Ph.D., joined Jessica Reyes on WMBC-TV’s Hometown to discuss the vital role our services play in the community, and why survivors need long-term, coordinated support to truly rebuild their lives.

From safe housing and counseling to legal advocacy, economic empowerment, and trauma-informed services for children and families, every part of our work exists to support survivors at every step.

Last year, our team supported more than 1,500 individuals across Bergen County, a reflection of both the ongoing need and the community that makes this work possible.

Every survivor’s path forward is different, and we strive to provide meaningful support at every stage of the journey.
