During the month of October—Domestic Violence Awareness Month—Center for Hope & Safety invites the community to an outdoor evening vigil at Van Saun Park near our Pathway to Self-Sufficiency to help raise domestic violence awareness and remember lives lost due to domestic violence. Attendees include Bergen County domestic violence survivors and family and friends of victims sharing their stories of survivorship, hope, healing and remembrance throughout the vigil.
