Link Logistics is the largest U.S.-only operator of last-mile industrial real estate. In addition to building quality real estate, the company is dedicated to developing strong relationships in local communities. Through Link Logistics’ Community Grants Program, the firm has distributed $4 million to support the efforts of nonprofit partners to address community challenges.

Center for Hope & Safety is fortunate to be one of those partners.

Like Center for Hope & Safety, Link Logistics believes it is essential for every person to feel they are valued, safe, and belong. By partnering with Center for Hope & Safety to renovate and rebuild our Community Services’ space, they have made a tangible difference in the lives of our clients and our team.

The joint project was proposed by Suzy Kaye Marana, Link Logistics’ Associate Director of Property Management. Prior to joining Link Logistics, Suzy had spearheaded several corporate donation drives to support Center for Hope & Safety. When Link’s Community Grants Program was launched in April 2022, Suzy was excited to tell us that she had nominated Center for Hope & Safety—and we had been selected!

Titled Project Link, this grant has enabled us to accomplish the following:

  • Transform the space in which our Community Services’ team assists clients into a comforting, professional, and functional environment that makes clients feel welcome and helps lift their morale and strengthen their dignity.
  • Enlarge our Community Closet to better store, organize, and distribute items. Shelving space has been doubled, which has expanded access to food and other basic necessities for those impacted by domestic violence. As a result, approximately 400 families a year will receive enhanced support.
  • Provide computers to support clients in their financial self-sufficiency journey. They can work on their resumes, search for employment opportunities, and apply for jobs while at the Center. And new smart TVs were purchased to deliver trainings and display information about Center for Hope & Safety and its services.

In addition to providing financial support, the local Link Logistics team volunteered its time to help us clear out and prepare the space for the construction.

We are honored to present the 2024 Corporate Impact Award to Link Logistics.
