Center for Hope & Safety Staff Attorney Taylor Craney, Esq. participated as a panelist at the 4th Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Symposium at New Milford High School on October 25, 2022. The discussion brought together advocates, agencies, government officials, and survivors, and featured a Bergen County victim’s story of survival. The event was moderated by New Milford Councilman Matthew Seymour.

Domestic violence is an increasing community issue in Bergen County. We have never, in our 46-year history, served more people than we are serving today. This symposium highlights an important discussion you should have with your family members, friends, and neighbors. Education and awareness of domestic violence within our community helps us take action TOGETHER on stopping it.
